Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a results-driven Retail Area Manager to plan and lead the activities of all stores within the assigned area, with full profit and loss responsibility and adherence to company objectives.

You will oversee store teams, focus on customer service, inventory management, and efficient store operations while aligning with company policies. Travel within the region is required to support growth and operations.

Qualifications

• Four+ years retail management experience with increasing responsibilities, managing multi-unit operations with full P&L responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• “Big-box" retail management and/or equivalent education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams by ensuring a culture that reflects Dollar General's mission and values.
• Drive area sales growth to meet or exceed targets through effective planning and execution.
• Oversee fair administration of human resources policies and practices.
• Ensure superior customer service through friendly, well-organized stores.
• Identify opportunities for growth within the operational area, including merchandising and process improvements.
