Job summary

Merck is seeking a Growth and Improvement minded Regional Medical Scientific Director (MSL) in Inflammatory Bowel Disease Immunology. You will engage with scientific leaders to share balanced medical information and support company AOIs with clinical insights.

You will liaise between the scientific community and Merck, enhancing understanding of approved and in-development trials, while upholding GMSA SOPs, GCPs, and policies. Travel up to 50% within the territory is required.

Qualifications

• Requires PhD/PharmD/DNP/DO/MD and relevant Immunology experience.
• Ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions with external stakeholders.
• Strong communication and networking skills; adherence to FDA, HIPAA, and related guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develops professional relationships with national and regional SLs to provide approved medical information.
• Conducts peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintains medical contact with SLs.
• Directs SL inquiries on issues outside scope to appropriate resources.
• Keeps current knowledge of AOI in therapeutic area.
