Job summary

Akumin is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to provide scanning coverage and support the team in various locations across the United States. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of MRI experience, ensuring patient safety, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities include producing high-quality diagnostic images, assisting with sales initiatives, and conducting evaluations. Local travel may be required 90% of the time, making strong organizational and customer service skills essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in MRI procedures.
• Able to work in high-pressure and high-visibility environments.
• CPR certification and valid state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide scanning coverage for Manager Operations.
• Ensure patient safety through pre-screening and infection control.
• Troubleshoot scanner and coaching for team members.
• Assist Sales team with start-ups and new business.
