Job summary

Northwest Bank seeks a Regional Mortgage Operations Manager to supervise day-to-day sales and production, implement strategies, and guide policy across the distributed channel.

You will lead a team to meet KPIs, control costs, and respond to monthly QC findings with improvement plans, while coordinating with Regional Sales Managers to optimize customer experience and CRA lending activities.

Qualifications

• Education and leadership credentials required for mortgage operations leadership and growth.
• Experience in banking operations, lending processes, and incentives administration.
• Ability to mentor a team and improve outcomes through data-driven strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead team effort to ensure accountability for maximum results as defined by KPIs.
• Implement procedures to meet or exceed goals and control costs.
• Ensure continuous improvement across production pipelines and staffing.
• Manage work hours and FTEs to balance workload and optimize results.
• Review monthly metrics and implement improvement plans based on QC findings.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to meet department goals and customer experience targets.
• Decide on consumer, equity, and mortgage loan approvals while applying credit judgment.
• Work with public agencies to expand relationships and CRA lending production.
• Exercise pricing and underwriting exceptions as needed and adhere to regulations.
• Mentor team, retain loans, and generate activity from new and existing customers.
