Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Regional Mobile Equipment Manager in Greensboro, NC to lead the equipment reliability program across the region. You will liaise with dealers, support operations, and drive life-cycle strategies to improve availability and reduce costs.

You will quantify financial merit of improvement initiatives and maintain progress data, reporting to the Division Senior Manager of Operational Excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and two years of vocational training.
• Five to ten years of supervisory/management experience maintaining and repairing large mobile and/or fixed equipment fleets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to safe working policies and regulatory safety requirements.
• Manage major supplier relationships and align reliability expectations.
• Coordinate mobile equipment operation, inspection and maintenance training.
• Collaborate to implement division mobile strategy and maintenance standards.
• Review oil samples and equipment alerts; generate RCA and follow-up actions.
• Perform site surveys and fleet performance studies.
• Prioritize and manage rebuilds with dealers to meet life expectancy and budgets.
