Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a motivated Mobile Fleet Supervisor to oversee our field equipment fleet across the Mid-America Region. You will coordinate maintenance, repairs, and scheduling while promoting safety and regulatory compliance with the Mobile Equipment Management Program.

You will lead five field lube technicians, collaborate with Plant and District leadership, and provide weekly equipment reports to the Regional Fleet Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 4+ years supervisory/management experience maintaining and repairing large mobile fleets
• Solid understanding of aggregate processing and equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• People skills and ability to develop positive relationships
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• High ethics, integrity and trust; good judgment
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to travel overnight as needed

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement, repair and maintenance of all mobile and stationary equipment
• Establish lines of communication among locations for efficient equipment distribution
• Supervise and develop five field lube technicians
• Provide safety leadership by attending/conducting meetings and mentoring employees
• Ensure preventive maintenance and scheduling standards are met
• Survey oil samples and equipment alert analysis and report to Regional Fleet Manager
• Coordinate implementation of condition monitoring, telemetry, and other equipment management technologies
• Oversee mobile repairs and all mobile rebuilds
• Conduct site audits and operational studies to identify cost reductions and utilization improvements
