Job summary

Lhoist North America in North Las Vegas seeks a Mining/Geology professional to lead regional mine planning, site scheduling, and safety program implementation. You will develop mine plans, support CAPEX processes, and train quarry teams on Lhoist standards while coordinating across locations.

Requirements include 3–5 years in surface mining and a Bachelor of Science in geology, mining, or related engineering; PE registration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in geology, mining, or related engineering / technical field is required or equivalent proven work experience.
• 4+ years of progressive technical responsibility in surface mining is preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional mine planning development and ensure standardized application across locations.
• Oversee quarry/mine mining teams, schedules, and revisions to mine plans.
• Coordinate site training on standards, tools, and programs; support CAPEX processes and cost models.
• Perform site visits/audits and provide on-site technical expertise as needed.
