Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Sales Executive Merchant Regional in the Pittsburgh area to drive new business growth and expand existing merchant relationships. You will lead strategic sales conversations with owners and executives, build a strong referral network, and manage a robust pipeline through referrals and self-generated leads.

Travel within the territory is required as you prospect and sign new local businesses, delivering value-driven presentations that align with client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience in solution selling, especially with small businesses and merchants.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent cold calling, prospecting, and territory development.
• Manage client relationships with internal teams to ensure customer success.
• Ability to quickly grasp technology concepts and apply them to business needs.
• Open to feedback and accountable for growth.
• Creatively resolve client issues with practical problem-solving and sound decision-making.
• Effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Communicate clearly in writing and speaking.
