Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in Northern California is seeking a Regional Memory Care Specialist to oversee memory care programs across our communities. The role emphasizes compliance with standards, staff coaching, and collaboration with Directors to maintain quality care for memory care residents.

The position requires senior living experience, travel up to 100% within the portfolio, and leadership responsibilities including program audits, policy development, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a Traditions Director or equivalent in a similar field.
• Experience working with persons with dementia and leadership experience.
• Ability to speak at public events.
• Bachelor’s degree in gerontology, psychology, social work, or related field, or 4 years experience in social services or related setting.
• Must meet CA DDS minimum qualifications of a dementia trainer.
• Must have or be willing to obtain RCFE Administrator Certification.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel 100% across the portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and onboarding new Directors.
• Provide retraining and coaching to Traditions Directors as needed.
• Conduct Traditions Program Audits and follow guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to Oakmont Traditions policies across communities.
• Contribute to policy and procedure development as part of a team.
• Assist in new community development openings, including hiring and training.
• Help develop Oakmont Programming standards and related systems.
