Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Regional Memory Care Specialist to support Memory Care and Health Services programs across Northern California. The role involves leadership of resident care, activity programming, and staffing for Memory Care communities, with up to 100% travel required within the portfolio.

The ideal candidate has dementia care experience, leadership background, and the ability to manage budgets, scheduling, and HR tasks while maintaining Oakmont standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years as a Traditions Director or equivalent.
• Experience with dementia care (2+ years) and 1+ year in a leadership role.
• BA/BS in gerontology, psychology, social work, or related field, or 4+ years in social services/residential care.
• Ability to speak at public events.
• CA DDS dementia trainer qualifications.
• RCFE Administrator Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Pass DOJ background check.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Budgeting, cost, labor, scheduling, HR/hiring knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and onboarding of new Directors.
• Coaching and retraining Traditions Directors as directed.
• Conduct Traditions Program Audits and ensure standards are followed.
• Ensure Oakmont Traditions policies are adhered to across communities.
• Participate in policy and procedure development as part of a team.
• Assist in new community openings including staffing and program setup.
• Contribute to Oakmont programming standards and system development.
