Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Regional Memory Care Specialist for Northern CA. The role requires strong memory care leadership across communities, with frequent travel within the portfolio.

You will work with Directors to uphold memory care standards and manage resident programs, staffing, and compliance. Ideal candidates have senior living and dementia care experience, plus leadership skills to guide teams, train staff, and participate in program development across California

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Min. 2 years as a Traditions Director or equivalent.
• At least 2 years working with persons with dementia and 1 year in a management/leadership role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; BA/BS or related field preferred.
• Public speaking ability.
• CA DDS dementia trainer qualifications.
• RCFE Administrator Certification (must have or be willing to obtain).
• Pass a DOJ Criminal Background Check.
• Clean driving record; reliable transportation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Adaptable to change and able to handle stress.
• Motivated and able to work independently; good time management.
• Budgeting, programming cost, labor, scheduling, HR/hiring knowledge.
• Experience training, coaching, mentoring.
• Strong event organization ability.
• Collaborative team player; knowledge of Oakmont programs standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online apps.
• COVID-19 vaccination proof or valid exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and on-boarding of new Directors.
• Assist in re-training and coaching Traditions Directors as directed.
• Conduct Traditions Program Audits and follow-up.
• Ensure Oakmont Traditions policies and procedures are followed.
• Participate in policy and procedure development.
• Assist in new development/openings including hiring, training, setup, and openings.
• Develop Oakmont Programming standards and related projects.
