Job summary

Oakmont Management Group seeks a Regional Memory Care Specialist to oversee memory care standards and staffing across California communities. Frequent travel within the portfolio is required, with up to 100% travel assignments possible.

The role requires dementia-related leadership experience, regulatory compliance knowledge, and the ability to develop programming that supports early to late-stage memory loss. Travel and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Min. 2 years as a Traditions Director or equivalent in a similar field.
• Experience with dementia and 1 year in a management/leadership role.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• BA/BS in gerontology, psychology, social work, or related field, or 4 years in social services setting.
• Ability to speak at public events.
• Must meet CA DDS dementia trainer qualifications.
• Must have or be willing to obtain RCFE Administrator Certification.
• Pass a DOJ Criminal Background Check.
• Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and onboarding of new Directors.
• Coach Traditions Directors as directed by Regional Memory Care Director.
• Conduct Traditions Program Audits and follow up.
• Ensure adherence to Oakmont Traditions policies and procedures.
• Participate in policy and procedure development as part of a team.
• Assist in new community openings including hiring, training, and setup.
• Contribute to Oakmont Programming standards and related projects.
