Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Regional Medical Lead (Director) to lead regional medical strategy and stakeholder engagement. You will shape regional plans, co-create initiatives with senior leaders, and guide MSLs to drive patient-centric outcomes across health systems and payers.

The role emphasizes building cross-functional collaboration, strategic leadership, and agile adaptation in a complex healthcare landscape, with a focus on improving patient outcomes in the region.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Biological Sciences is strongly preferred.
• 7–10 years of strategic leadership across therapeutic and cross-functional teams.
• Developing, communicating, and implementing strategy across complex healthcare environments.
• Understanding interconnectivity of health systems and patient care delivery.
• Analytical skills to identify barriers and success factors.
• Commitment to developing self and others to achieve goals.
• Ability to lead and collaborate in a matrixed environment.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to regional strategic business plans addressing regional challenges and opportunities.
• Manage senior stakeholder and C-suite relationships across the region.
• Develop deep understanding of regional ecosystems and key decision makers.
• Ensure alignment with patient-centric strategy and priorities.
• Be the medical point of contact for top decision makers to co-create initiatives.
• Identify regional education needs and deploy resources from product and disease state perspectives.
• Provide leadership to MSLs and guide coaching within the region.
• Identify regional evidence needs and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Track customer experience to enhance medical strategy and engagement.
• Represent customer needs to senior leadership and internal partners to advance shared goals.
• Facilitate training for region colleagues to adapt to evolving market.
