Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Regional Master Data Management (MDM) Manager II to govern and improve enterprise master data across regional and global operations. You will lead regional governance, align data definitions, and drive data quality initiatives across ERP, CRM, and analytics platforms.

The role requires 5–8+ years in MDM/Data Governance, strong stakeholder management, and experience with SAP/Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Business, or related discipline.
• 5–8+ years of progressive experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, or related disciplines.
• Advanced knowledge of MDM principles, governance frameworks, stewardship practices, and system-of-record methodologies.
• Experience leading complex data quality initiatives across multiple systems and stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP/CRM/MDM and analytical platforms (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake).
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment in global, matrixed environments.
• Experience implementing governance standards, policies, controls, and data standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional execution of global MDM governance strategies and standards.
• Partner with global teams to improve governance frameworks and stewardship processes.
• Serve as regional expert for master data definitions and ownership models.
• Ensure alignment of global and regional data definitions across systems.
• Lead data remediation, cleansing, and mass update initiatives.
• Provide governance reporting, audit support, and data quality metrics.
• Collaborate with IT and analytics to design and govern data structures and interfaces.
• Mentor data stewards and promote adoption of governance best practices.
