Job summary

Terracon seeks a Marketing Lead for the Intermountain Region (Utah, Idaho, Montana) to drive regional strategy, collaborate with offices, and lead proposal development for public and private clients across environmental, facilities, geotechnical, and materials testing service lines. The role requires in-person work in Salt Lake City, Boise, or Great Falls, with travel.

CPSM certification is preferred; SF330 knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing, or 10 years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign).
• Strategic and critical thinking, problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in the six SMPS Domains of Practice.
• Strong knowledge of digital technology and ever-advancing communications and organizational tools.
• Strong quality control and attention to detail.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing and communications strategy for the Intermountain Region (Utah, Idaho, and Montana).
• Develop regional marketing plans aligned with growth goals.
• Coordinate with project managers to plan and produce high-quality RFP/RFQ submittals.
• Lead market, competitor and client research efforts.
• Manage event planning and attendance at trade shows and conferences.
• Champion CRM usage and data integrity across the region.
• Support miscellaneous marketing requests and firm initiatives.
• Lead and empower a marketing team with accountability for quality work.
