ReedSmith in San Francisco seeks a Coordinator of Marketing, Events and Sponsorships to drive regional client growth through BD, events, and sponsorships. You will collaborate with attorneys, office leadership, and firmwide teams to tailor initiatives to local markets.

The role focuses on client communications, event planning, sponsorships, and regional marketing materials, with travel as needed and a strong emphasis on achieving BD goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in professional services marketing and/or business development.
• Experience supporting events, sponsorships, client communications, and business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support local and regional business development initiatives for assigned offices and markets.
• Partner with office leadership and attorneys to grow client relationships and market presence.
• Assist with client targeting, tracking, and follow‑up for local and regional BD efforts.
• Support pitch, proposal, and client team initiatives for regional opportunities.
• Coordinate with firmwide BD & Marketing to implement campaigns locally and regionally.
• Serve as regional contact for firmwide campaigns, programs, and client development.
• Ensure alignment with branding and messaging for regional markets.
• Develop and distribute local/regional client alerts and communications.
• Assist attorneys with content formatting, targeting, and distribution.
• Track performance metrics and report on client communications.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute local and regional client events, CLE programs, webinars, receptions, and firm‑hosted programs.
• Manage venues, vendors, catering, invitations, registration, on‑site support, and post‑event follow‑up.
• Ensure events align with BD goals and practice group strategies.
• Travel for meetings or trainings as required.
• Manage local sponsorship opportunities and ROI tracking.
• Maintain regional marketing materials and local market collateral.
