Job summary

Interstate All Battery Center is seeking a Market General Manager II to lead a company-owned distributorship, driving profit, growth, and operational excellence in a dynamic market.

You will manage P&L, review scorecards, optimize inventory, and grow the dealer network while developing the annual operating plan, coaching a regional sales team, and ensuring safety and compliance across the operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managerial experience with a track record of producing positive results.
• Experience in a Warehouse or Distribution environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of battery business and/or automotive systems is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct accountability for the Profit & Loss (P&L) and budget performance for the distributorship.
• Lead and manage the local Sales Team to acquire new business and grow the customer base.
• Develop and manage the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monitor progress against goals.
• Oversee inventory flow, accuracy, and cost control to minimize losses.
• Maintain relationships with key dealers and ensure SLA targets with National Accounts.
• Provide regular performance feedback and coaching to staff; conduct annual reviews.
