Interstate Batteries is seeking a Market General Manager II to drive the profitability and growth of a company-owned distributorship in the United States. You will oversee P&L, budget performance, and strategic action plans with regional leadership to meet financial goals.

The role demands strong leadership, field presence, and relationship management with dealers and national accounts, plus accountability for inventory, AR, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience with a track record of producing positive results.
• Experience in a Warehouse or Distribution environment is preferred.
• Computer skills including basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Fosters teamwork, communication, and leadership to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Direct accountability for the Profit & Loss (P&L) and budget performance for the distributorship.
• Review, monitor, and analyze weekly scorecards and monthly financials to identify variances and create action plans.
• Lead and manage the local Sales Team to acquire new business and grow the dealer base.
• Spend significant time in the market to understand competitive products and services.
• Ensure service to National Accounts meets SLA expectations.
