Job summary

Parkland Corporation is seeking a Regional Manager, LPG to oversee the LPG supply, shipping, distribution, safety, and operations across the designated region. The role involves developing and executing business strategies to drive growth and profitability, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Availability to current Sol staff and external applicants is noted. The position reports to the Director - Head of M&A Commercial, LATAM and Caribbean, with ~5

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of LPG experience, including 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the region.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, cross-functional teamwork, and independent work.
  • Strong analytical skills with MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee LPG sales, operations, and safety in the region.
  • Work closely with Sol market GMs to support sales, operations and safe operations.
  • Develop and grow the wholesale LPG sales segment.
  • Manage supply agreements for LPG delivered to Sol and third-party customers by vessel.
  • Oversee supply and ship operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Supervise, coach, motivate and develop team members with training plans.
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities.
  • Develop and manage budgets and financial plans for the business line.
  • Prepare and present reports on performance and financials to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Implement operational policies and procedures for efficient operations.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards in applicable jurisdictions.

Job Title: Regional Manager, LPG

Reports to: Director -Head of M&A Commercial, LATAM and Caribbean

Subordinates: ~5 (2 direct reports)

The RM LPG is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of LPG supply, shipping, distribution, safety, and operations within the region, while ensuring adherence to all relevant safety regulations and company policies. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive growth and profitability within the region.

Principle Accountabilities
  • Oversee all aspects of LPG sales, operations, and safety within the region.
  • Work closely with Sol market GMs to support the markets in sales, operations and safe operations.
  • Develop and grow the wholesale LPG sales segment.
  • Manage supply agreements for LPG delivered to Sol and other third-party customers by vessel.
  • Oversee supply and ship operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Supervise, coach, motivate and develop team members while establishing training plans to assist them in reaching their full potential.
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customers' needs to identify opportunities and develop effective strategies.
  • Develop and manage budgets and financial plans for the business line.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on performance, financials, and other key metrics to senior management.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in the jurisdictions that apply.

Qualification Requirements
