Job summary

Metes & Bounds is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead a team of property managers in the operation and physical maintenance of residential multi-tenant properties. The role is based out of our corporate office with oversight of properties managed by the team.

You will direct on-site staff, ensure policy compliance, inspect properties monthly, and drive budgets, advertising, and rent decisions. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in this multi-site operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in residential property management required.
• 3 years minimum experience in a multi-site supervisory role preferred.
• Ability to act independently and make decisions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and manage several projects and excel under tight deadlines.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents, team members, vendors, and owners.
• Previous experience with budgets/financials required.

Responsibilities

• Hires and trains Property Managers and Maintenance Technicians.
• Monitors advertising, rent levels, and performance at properties.

Based out of Corporate Office in Richfield overseeing properties

Metes & Bounds is looking to add an experienced leader to our team. Your main responsibility in this position is leading a team of property managers in the operation and physical maintenance of residential multi-tenant properties.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that on-site employees comply with all policies and procedures established for the property and the company
• Personally inspects the exterior and interior of each property at least once a month, make recommendations for repair and/or replacements
• Review all delinquent rents and determines action required, assists Property Manager in collection of delinquencies, oversee Unlawful Detainer process
• Ensures all funds are collected and delivered to the main office in a timely manner
• Audit each property petty cash report monthly
• Inspect resident files for accuracy and completeness
• Review weekly availability report to ensure report is accurate and up to date
• Inspect vacancies to analyze readiness
• Review budgets with Property Managers
• Schedule unannounced property visits for inspection and evaluation purposes of property and personne
• Monitor and approves all property advertising
• Make recommendations for increasing rents to supervisor
• Attend weekly staff meeting with supervisor to discuss property and personnel issues
• Interview, hire and train Property Managers and Maintenance Technicians

• Previous experience in property management software required
• High school diploma required, college degree preferred
• Must be able to clear a thorough background check
