Job summary

Flagship Communities is seeking a hardworking Maintenance Technician Tradesman to support manufactured home communities. You will handle painting, remodeling, plumbing, electrical work and landscaping across regional sites, traveling between properties as needed.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years in housing maintenance and rehab, owns basic tools, and can work autonomously while following safety guidelines to uphold resident standards and service quality.

Qualifications

• Carpentry is a must.
• Physically capable of manual labor (lifting, bending, reaching).
• Positive attitude, able to lead and work as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of plumbing and other systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and repair of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems and ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs as needed.
• Perform minor repairs (locks, windows, etc.).
• Pest control tasks such as spraying insecticide.
• General upkeep procedures and other assigned tasks.
• Keep grounds and landscaping in top shape.
• Assist in budget preparation and adherence.
• Mow, weed eat and hedge trim; maintain equipment.

Summary of Position

We are looking for a hardworking, eager Maintenance Technician to join our team. Primary responsibilities include painting, home remodeling, minor plumbing, electrical work and landscaping etc. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals with a wide variety of skill sets. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines and take pride in the standards and services they deliver to our residents

POSITION ACTIVITIES AND TASKS

• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned
• Keeping grounds and landscaping in tip-top shape
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed
• Mowing, weed eating and hedge trimming (also includes performing preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Carpentry a Must

EDUCATION LEVEL REQUIRED

• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
