Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Regional Maintenance Technician to service Residences on Appleton in Holyoke, MA, with potential assignments across the Western MA portfolio. You will handle maintenance across units, common areas, and grounds, and lead training for other technicians.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet driving records standards.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• Ability to travel within assigned territory with occasional overnight stay.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
• Availability for on-call activity during off hours.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, problem solve, and make repairs in areas including appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and HVAC.
• Lead and train other maintenance technicians.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs per company procedures.
• Ensure vacant apartments are market-ready.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and annual unit inspections.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management.
• Be available for on-call activity during off-hours based on schedule and need.
