Job summary

Princeton Properties, a premier New England based Property Management Firm, is seeking a full-time MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN for our Worcester, MA property. This role focuses on apartment-home maintenance with opportunities to work on basic repairs, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks.

Ideal candidates bring residential maintenance experience and a willingness to train. You’ll lift up to 50 lbs, drive locally, and participate in an on-call rotation including snow removal.

Qualifications

• Residential maintenance experience required (apartment or general repair) — we’ll provide training!
• Possesses a basic set of hand tools (e.g., hammer, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, drill bits) and is comfortable using them.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and physically handle tasks like bending, reaching, crawling, etc.
• Willing to be on-call for emergencies and snow removal (rotating schedule)
• The preferred candidate will live in the greater Worcester, MA area and must successfully pass a pre-employment background screening.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance work orders across apartment homes.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC issues.
• Respond to emergency calls on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Work independently and with a team to keep our communities clean and functioning.
• Communicate with vendors and property management staff as needed.
• Participate in snow removal when required (including nights/weekends during storms).
