Regional Maintenance Supervisor – Colorado Region | Denver, CO

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a Regional Maintenance Supervisor (RMS) for our Colorado Region. Permanent residence in the Denver, CO area or willingness to relocate is required. This full-time, salaried position offers a salary depending on experience and may require occasional weekends, travel, and working at different properties. The RMS will supervise maintenance and capital improvement projects for approximately 20 apartment communities, overseeing capital improvements, general maintenance operations, and staff training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Productivity: Monitor apartment turnovers, community upkeep, inspections, and capital projects to meet standards and budgets.
• Staffing: Review resumes, interview, and recommend hires; oversee scheduling and performance improvement of maintenance staff.
• Education & Training: Train staff on policies, procedures, and certifications; recommend additional training programs.
• Purchasing: Oversee vendor contracts, negotiate, and monitor vendor performance.
• Workplace Safety: Ensure safety regulations and proper use of safety equipment are followed.
• General: Ensure compliance, attend meetings, coordinate maintenance and renovations, contribute to budgets, and manage interior renovations.
• Driving: Ability to drive locally for property management purposes.

Who You Are:

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience with growth and promotions.
• 1-3 years managing multiple locations.
• 3-5 years experience in multi-family apartment properties.
• Technical proficiency with tools, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
