Get To Know The Opportunity

The ERISA Services Manager is the primary contact for relationship managers and Voya clients regarding non-discrimination testing (ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy, and complex testing), test cure strategies, and signature-ready Form 5500 requirements. The manager will oversee a team to ensure proper testing and reporting strategies are in place.

Please Note: Work location for this role is FLEXIBLE! This position allows 100% remote work from home.

The Contributions You’ll Make

• Manage non-discrimination testing and Form 5500 preparation within regulatory deadlines; provide consultation on complex compliance matters.
• Ensure system capabilities (Omni, ASC, Relius) are in place for accurate testing/reporting; lead updates for regulatory changes and process improvements.
• Analyze plan and employer structures to determine testing methodologies; develop capabilities for various plan types as needed.
• Consult with staff, relationship managers, and clients on cure strategies for failed tests, including calculations for excess amounts, earnings, and recharacterizations.
• Participate in pre-sale and new client onboarding to showcase Voya ERISA capabilities, support sales efforts, and update marketing materials.
• Manage product development and process improvement initiatives, ensuring procedures and communications are current.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience

• 5-7 years industry experience, with 3-5 years in ERISA compliance; knowledge of ERISA and IRC 401(a) required.
• Familiarity with current recordkeeping systems is desirable.
• Industry designations (SPARK, NIPA, ASPPA, CEBS) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to interact with senior management required.
• Strong management and organizational skills required.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related; JD or Master’s in Accounting or Taxation is a plus.

Compensation Pay Disclosure

Base salary range: $75,830 - $126,390 USD, with potential incentives. Actual offers depend on location, experience, education, and skills.
