Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Regional Area Maintenance Manager in California to lead maintenance teams, develop strategies, and balance proactive planning with real-time problem solving. You will oversee preventative maintenance programs, coordinate with operations, and mentor technicians to ensure safety and efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, CMMS proficiency, and experience managing MHE systems; domestic travel will be frequent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years Amazon RME Full Time experience.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during maintenance across the region.
• Design and implement preventative maintenance programs and coordinate external contractors.
• Monitor MHE metrics and address system performance issues with relevant teams.
• Travel domestically up to 80% to provide escalation support and guidance.
