Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Regional Area Maintenance Manager in Corona, CA to lead maintenance teams, ensure safety, and drive operational excellence across the region. You will blend strategic planning with hands‑on problem solving to maintain critical robotics and material handling equipment.

The role includes managing preventative maintenance and coordinating with operations. You will monitor MHE performance, mentor technicians, and travel up to 80% to provide escalation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years Amazon RME FT experience.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during maintenance activities across the region.
• Design and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs and coordinate with external contractors.
• Monitor MHE metrics and partner with teams to address performance issues and provide analysis.
• Travel domestically up to 80% to provide escalation support and guidance within the region.
