Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Regional Area Maintenance Manager in the United States to lead dynamic maintenance teams across a region, focusing on safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. You will blend strategic planning with hands-on problem solving and team leadership to drive preventive maintenance programs and respond to emergencies.

You will travel up to 80% domestically to provide escalation support and ensure strong collaboration with operations teams, while balancing proactive planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME Full Time experience.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers.
• Ensure safety protocols and procedures are followed during maintenance activities across the site.
• Design and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor MHE metrics and collaborate with the team to address system performance issues.
• Travel domestically up to 80% to provide escalation support and guidance within your region.
