Job summary

Amazon Inc. in the United States (New York region) seeks a Regional Area Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance teams, develop strategies for safety and efficiency, and ensure operational excellence.

You will balance preventative maintenance, operations coordination, and rapid response to emergencies, while fostering a culture of high performance. The role requires strong leadership, 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience, CMMS, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering (or 2+ years Amazon RME Full Time experience).
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers, fostering professional growth and performance.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and procedures during maintenance activities across your region.
• Design and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs across your region; manage and coordinate external contractors while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Monitor MHE metrics and partner with applicable teams to address system performance issues and provide analysis across all operations.
• Travel domestically up to 80% to provide escalation support and guidance within your region.
