Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Regional Planner/Scheduler in Chicago to optimize maintenance resources and ensure safe, efficient work packages. This role combines planning, CMMS administration, and inventory management to meet long-term reliability objectives.

The position emphasizes collaboration with account management and operations teams, maintaining backlog, and ensuring accurate reporting and material readiness for all scheduled work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred in maintenance technology.
• Strong communication and time management skills are required.
• Experience with CMMS and MS Excel is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand work packages.

Responsibilities

• Schedule maintenance activities and preventive/corrective work with close coordination to minimize operational impact.
• Analyze resource requirements and assign mechanical, electrical, and engineering services.
• Coordinate with departments and prepare specifications/work packages for safety and efficiency.
• Ensure materials, labor and equipment are available before scheduling work; QA the work order process.
• Maintain CMMS backlog and asset registry; monitor performance reports for accuracy.
• Collaborate with account and management teams to improve planning and scheduling practices.
