Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager in Pooler, GA to lead a maintenance team responsible for safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. You will develop maintenance strategies, solve complex challenges, and empower technicians to perform at their best.

This role blends strategic planning with hands-on problem solving, coordinating preventative maintenance, managing external contractors, and overseeing MHE systems to keep operations running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon RME FT experience.
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of service technicians and automation engineers.
• Ensure safety protocols across maintenance activities site-wide.
• Design and implement preventative maintenance programs to enhance efficiency.
• Manage external contractors while maintaining high service quality.
• Monitor MHE metrics and collaborate with teams to address performance issues.
