Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager in Union City, GA to lead a team of technicians and automation engineers. You will drive safety, reliability, and efficiency by developing maintenance strategies, overseeing preventative programs, and coordinating with operations for timely repairs.

You will balance hands-on problem solving with strategic planning, mentoring staff, and managing contractors to ensure high-quality service and strong performance across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years Amazon RME experience
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience
• 2+ years of CMMS experience
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience
• Ability to work weekends/nights/holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers
• Ensure safety protocols during maintenance activities across the site
• Design and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs that enhance operational efficiency
• Manage and coordinate external contractors while maintaining high-quality service standards
• Monitor MHE metrics and partner with applicable team to address system performance issues and provide analysis across all operation
