Job summary

Amazon Memphis is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead a skilled maintenance team, drive safety, and optimize performance across all site operations. You will blend planning with hands-on problem solving to meet reliability goals.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance strategies, coordinating with operations, and guiding technicians to deliver high-quality service while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years Amazon RME experience in a similar role.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• 2+ years CMMS and MS Office experience; flexibility to work shifts including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor technicians and automation engineers to drive performance.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed across maintenance activities.
• Design and implement preventive maintenance programs to boost efficiency.
• Coordinate external contractors while sustaining high service standards.
• Monitor MHE metrics and partner to address system performance issues.
