Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across properties in Oakland, Berkeley, and Alameda, CA. This role requires regular travel within the region and oversight of maintenance performance to Winn Standards.

You will ensure financial controls, regulatory compliance, and NSPIRE readiness, while mentoring site teams, coordinating budgets, and driving timely preventive maintenance and capital projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 8–10 years of relevant work experience; 5–8 years supervisory/managerial experience.
• Strong NSPIRE and TCAC inspection background.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Willingness to travel four days a week to Oakland, Emeryville and San Pablo.
• Experience with web-based applications and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse group and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations across properties in Oakland, Berkeley, and Alameda.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and regulatory requirements.
• Manage site logs, apartment turnovers, and Winn Standards.
• Coordinate with property managers on budgets and capital projects.
• Lead and mentor maintenance staff; participate in hiring decisions.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with regional team.
