Job summary

Fairfield Residential is seeking a Regional Maintenance Support Specialist to lead maintenance teams across San Diego communities and provide advanced technical expertise. The role involves on-site visits, supervision, and coordinating capital projects, with a monthly auto allowance to support travel.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on residential maintenance, supervisory experience, and a valid driver’s license. Experience with Yardi or similar PM software is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• EPA Certification, Type II or universal is required.
• CPO Certification (Pool) is required.
• CAMT Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and cross-train maintenance teams at assigned communities.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more.
• Oversee on-site capex projects and vendor work quality; assist with bidding, scope development, and procurement.
• Ensure adherence to Fairfield policies, OSHA standards, and hazardous materials requirements.
• Support make-ready schedules, move-ins, and move-outs; maintain communication with onsite and regional teams.
