Job summary

Civitas Senior Living in Austin, TX seeks a Regional Maintenance Specialist to fill in across communities, ensuring day-to-day upkeep, safety, and responsive repairs. You will support a region with training and emergency assistance under the Corporate Property Manager.

This role requires 3+ years in property maintenance, strong HVAC/electrical/plumbing knowledge, and a valid driver's license to travel, including overnight stays. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade training in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing preferred.
• 3+ years in property maintenance or as a Maintenance Director.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel, including overnight stays.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and independently prioritize repair needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily walkthroughs of residences, grounds, and parking to ensure upkeep and safety.
• Review tasks, work orders, and unit turns; complete accordingly.
• Complete monthly maintenance scorecard.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform repairs.
• Maintain records and manage budgets with the Executive Director.
