Job summary

Fairgrove Property Management, based in Southern California, is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations for properties across its designated region. The role includes hands-on work order support and acting as the primary point of contact for multi-site maintenance staff.

The position emphasizes leadership, hiring and training of maintenance technicians, enforcing company policies, compliance, and timely completion of work orders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in property management maintenance or related field.
• Proficient in AppFolio or similar property management software and MS Office 365 (Outlook and Teams).
• Proven leadership skills leading a team.
• Organized and able to manage work orders for multiple priorities.
• Clean driving record and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations oversight of properties within the assigned region.
• Oversee administration of ~10 direct reports, including timecard management, performance reviews, and ongoing training.
• Enforce policies, procedures, and standards to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and quality check maintenance activities; ensure timely work orders, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Serve as escalation point to resolve matters for all stakeholders.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance and identify improvements.
• Perform routine work orders ~40% of time.
