Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management seeks a Regional Float Director of Maintenance to guide facility operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor Maintenance Directors across sites. You will lead preventive maintenance, supervise staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with vendors to maintain high safety and quality standards.

Experience in healthcare or long-term care facilities, strong leadership, and the ability to navigate audits and inspections are essential.

Qualifications

• Boiler license required, MN Class C Engineer license preferred.
• High school diploma and at least 2 years of maintenance or power plant experience desirable.
• Healthcare or long-term care facility background preferred.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, adaptability, and effective communication across departments and with diverse populations.
• Pass a background check per Minnesota DHS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, efficient building operations, equipment systems, and outdoor areas.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, document repairs, manage inventory and budgeting for supplies.
• Work with vendors and external partners to ensure service quality and contractual compliance.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
