Job summary

Allure HCS in Illinois is seeking a Regional Maintenance professional to oversee maintenance across our centers (Allure of Mendota, Peru, Pinecrest, Zion SNF/SLF). Lead the maintenance department, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and plan preventive maintenance.

Requires high school education, 5-10 years building experience as a maintenance director, valid driver's license, ability to read blueprints, and knowledge of boilers, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• 5-10 years of building experience as a maintenance director.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Background and drug screen
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and related mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
• Licensure in current standards and codes
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, staff and public

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the maintenance department.
• Oversee documentation, such as work orders and plant systems.
• Coordinate maintenance services with related departments.
• Assist in establishing a preventive maintenance program.
• Repair facility/resident property as needed.
• Inspect storage and utility areas for upkeep and supplies.
• Support facility surveys by government agencies as required.
• Provide leadership to ensure clean, safe, and comfortable environments.
