Job summary

Allure HCS is seeking a Regional Maintenance professional to oversee the maintenance programs across multiple Allure centers in Illinois. You will plan, organize, and direct the maintenance department, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards and coordinating with other departments.

You will manage a team, implement preventive maintenance, and ensure facilities meet environmental and resident care standards.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• 5-10 years of building experience as a maintenance director.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Background and drug screen required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Licensure in accordance with current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to relate information concerning a resident's condition.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the maintenance department.
• Oversee documentation, work orders, plant operation, building construction, fire alarm, sprinklers, electrical, plumbing, etc.
• Assume administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for directing the maintenance department.
• Coordinate maintenance services and activities with other related departments.
• Assist in establishing a preventive maintenance program.
• Repair facility/resident property as necessary.
• Inspect storage rooms, workrooms, utility/janitorial closets, etc., for upkeep and supply control.
• Participate in facility surveys (inspections) by government agencies.
• Keep abreast of economic conditions and recommend adjustments to maintenance services.
