Job summary

D.O.M. magazine seeks a regional maintenance leader to serve as the primary accountable authority for FAA Part 145 repair station activities in the Cincinnati area.

You will oversee resource allocation, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive service improvements across multiple locations. Key responsibilities include leading talent management, coordinating with regulators, and developing strategies to elevate customer satisfaction and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent on-the-job work experience.
• 3+ years experience working with and managing third-party partners.
• 5+ years experience managing others.
• 5+ years experience in a product maintenance or manufacturing-oriented environment, multisite preferred.
• Knowledge of local airworthiness authority regulations (FAA).
• Interaction with local airworthiness authority inspectors or equivalent regulatory agency.
• Must possess or obtain FAA Repairman Certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of component control and tracking programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all organizational levels.
• Solution oriented with initiative to create, implement, and improve policies and procedures.
• Good organizational skills, multi-tasking, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accountable authority for all regional FAA Part 145 repair station activities with regulatory compliance.
• Direct allocation of financial, human, and facility resources to support maintenance services.
• Oversee personnel competency assessment across locations.
• Safeguard maintenance operations by verifying adherence to FAA procedures and standards.
• Provide strategic leadership and operational direction for regional service centers.
• Lead talent management including recruitment, development, performance reviews, and succession planning for leadership roles.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align objectives and foster a high-performance service culture.
• Champion short- and long-term strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and service delivery.
• Conduct Supplier Readiness Assessments to evaluate supplier capability and readiness.
• Define, communicate, and analyze supplier performance using scorecards and evaluation frameworks.
• Partner with CSafe Quality Department to maintain airworthiness standards for critical suppliers.
• Represent the organization with customers, regulators, and industry officials.
• Identify process inefficiencies and drive improvement across the regional supplier base.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
