Job summary

Frey Consulting Group seeks an Accountable Manager to lead the FAA Part 145 Repair Station operations, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will oversee resources, facilities, and personnel while maintaining strong relations with the FAA and customers.

The role requires extensive knowledge of 14 CFR Part 145, 14 CFR Part 43, and FAA regulations, with a focus on leadership, safety culture, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree in Aviation, Aviation Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of management or supervisory experience in civil aviation maintenance.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within an FAA-regulated maintenance environment.
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, ERP systems, Adobe Acrobat, OEM portals, 2-factor authentication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and accountability for all operations conducted under 14 CFR Part 145.
• Ensure the repair station operates in full compliance with all applicable FARs, manufacturer requirements, and customer standards.
• Direct the complete operation of the FAA Part 145 Repair Station, including facilities, personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Oversee repair station manuals and ensure documentation remains current, accurate, and compliant with FAA requirements.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the FAA and maintain positive working relationships with regulatory authorities.
• Act as the Accountable Manager for the FAA Drug and Alcohol Program.
