Job summary

Caltrans Sunrise maintenance region is seeking a Supervisor I to organize and supervise administrative staff and activities. Under the Maintenance Manager II, you will oversee timekeeping, payroll processing, hiring support, purchasing, and invoice payment.

You will develop and maintain office procedures, prepare reports, monitor staff performance, and coordinate with divisions to provide timely service to the maintenance division.

Qualifications

• Experience in public sector administrative supervision and staff coordination.
• Strong knowledge of timekeeping, payroll, hiring support and procurement processes.
• Ability to prepare reports and manage budgets for a regional maintenance operation.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise administrative activities for the Sunrise maintenance region.
• Provide subject matter expertise on payroll, timekeeping and purchasing procedures.
• Coordinate with internal divisions and monitor staff performance to meet deadlines.
