Job summary

Chrysalis Enterprises is seeking a Crew Supervisor to direct and supervise maintenance crews for Caltrans-related projects in California, coordinating with local Caltrans personnel to meet contractual obligations and ensure safe, efficient operations on state highways and rights‑of‑ways.

You will train and mentor CE transitional employees, enforce safety policies, manage clocking procedures, handle customer communications, submit reports, and participate in meetings while upholding Chrysalis

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class C driver's license and be able to qualify for Chrysalis insurance.
• Ability to pass written and field driver screening and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong leadership, communication and work history.
• Willingness to mentor CE workers and support the CE transitional jobs program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet throughout shift.
• Demonstrated quality assurance and professionalism.
• Excellent organization, time management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise maintenance work crews on Caltrans-related projects.
• Train, coach, and mentor CE employees with performance evaluations.
• Ensure safety, proper PPE, and compliance with labor laws.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, uniforms, and inventory readiness.
• Communicate with customers, stakeholders and CE Management.
• Submit maintenance and vehicle inspection reports as required.
• Attend meetings and trainings; enforce Chrysalis policies.
• Oversee clock-in/out for transitional employees.
• Handle customer requests and resolve issues promptly.
