Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Machine Safety Manager to lead the regional program for US/LATAM sites. You will assess equipment risks, define safeguarding requirements, and manage safety projects from conception through implementation, driving regulatory compliance and reliability.

Remote work is available with up to 50% travel. A CMSE and strong leadership are required to deliver measurable safety and business outcomes across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in manufacturing or Associate's degree with 7+ years experience.
• CMSE certification required or obtainable within 6 months.
• Willing to travel up to 50% of time.

Responsibilities

• Lead ELIP US/LATAM Machine Safety Program and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop safeguarding solutions.
• Manage machine safety projects from assessment to closeout.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, maintenance, and suppliers.
• Drive governance and continuous improvement across facilities.
