Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Pedricktown, NJ to lead the maintenance team across fashion, import, jewelry, regional, returns, Sam's, and WM.com operations. The role oversees facility performance, safety standards, and cost management, with a focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder alignment.

You will drive staffing plans, supervise managers and associates, and ensure equipment reliability and regulatory compliance while executing the company’s EDLP and related policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business or related field and 1 year supervisory/management experience in maintenance OR Associate's Degree or technical certification and 1 year supervisory/management experience OR 3 years supervisory/management experience in a maintenance/industrial environment.
• Associates will be required to attend and complete trainings (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and associates in writing or verbally.
• Drive and implement the business plan for the area to achieve facility goals (production quality, safety, improvements).
• Forecast and follow up on staffing workload and performance to meet business demands.
• Monitor and manage expenses, asset utilization, and generate business reports.
• Ensure compliance with logistics, quality, and safety standards; develop procedures and documentation.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders; participate in hiring and promotion decisions.
• Oversee maintenance department daily operations including equipment and building upkeep; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Direct financial aspects by tracking expenses and capital expenditures against budget.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in business or related field

Associate's Degree or technical school certification in a related field

3 years supervisory or managerial experience in a maintenance/industrial environment
