Job summary

Imerys is seeking a Regional Logistics Manager for our Polymers & Coatings (Carbonates) division in Roswell, GA. Hybrid work arrangement with three days onsite per week.

You will oversee logistics strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and KPI-driven performance across trucking, rail, maritime, and warehousing to ensure on-time delivery and optimized costs. Responsibilities include leading logistics strategy for key accounts, managing freight profitability, supporting sales with logistics

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management-level experience in logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing.
• Economical and analytical approach with strong customer focus.
• Experience implementing actionable KPIs.
• Experience with profit and loss (P&L) management.
• Bachelor's degree in business/engineering/finance.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and logistics TMS.
• Solid understanding of trucking, rail, maritime shipping, and warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics strategy and operational excellence across regions.
• Directly support sales with logistics solutions, cost modeling, and customer meetings.
• Drive service KPIs and freight P&L performance.
• Collaborate with Sales and customers to address operational requirements.
• Manage freight profitability with Sales; identify outliers needing attention.
• Track carrier KPIs; hold regular carrier meetings and implement corrective actions.
• Lead logistics strategy for key accounts balancing service, equipment, route, and cost.
• Oversee onboarding tasks between customers and carriers for new/destinations.
• Analyze monthly freight profitability variances with Product and Sales Managers.
