Job summary

Imerys is offering a Product Sustainability Internship in Roswell, GA. The role focuses on conducting Cradle-to-Gate Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for a global mineral-based solutions leader.

As an intern, you will map product environmental footprints from extraction to factory gate and lead the LCA process. You will facilitate workshops, develop LCA cards and Ecoprofiles, and collaborate with site managers to gather high-quality data, aligning sustainability with market needs.

Qualifications

• Course work in life cycle assessments.
• Pursuing degree or recent graduate (Graduate level preferred) in environmental science, engineering, data science, sustainability, or related field
• Ability to understand and analyze large data sets
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Not accepting candidates who require visa sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Data Architecture: Design LCA questionnaires and collaborate with site managers to gather high‑fidelity, site‑specific data.
• Modeling & Analysis: Build and manage product flows using Holis software, calculate environmental impacts, and integrate results into our Group‑wide systems.
• Strategic Reporting: Develop LCA cards and Ecoprofiles for diverse product families.
• Workshop Leadership: Organize and support market alignment workshops to identify sustainable solutions for products-in-application.
• Advocacy: Create internal educational materials to communicate the business value and environmental necessity of LCAs to stakeholders.
