Job summary

Danfoss seeks a DBS Regional CI Expert in Loves Park, IL to drive Lean initiatives across regional manufacturing sites. You will lead continuous improvement programs, reduce costs, and raise safety, quality, delivery, and inventory standards using the DBS framework.

You will coach plant teams, collaborate with operations management and cross-functional partners, travel up to three weeks per month, and apply SAP, Power BI, and MS Office to turn data into shop-floor improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement and operational leadership.
• Deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing with hands-on approach; Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Shainin or similar advanced problem-solving methods are advantageous.
• Willingness to spend significant time on the shop floor and travel up to 3 weeks/month.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives and CI projects across the region to deliver cost reductions and productivity gains.
• Support regional operations by identifying bottlenecks and implementing hands-on improvements.
• Align DBS standards with regional business goals across facilities.
• Analyze data with SAP/Power BI and drive actionable shop-floor improvements.
• Coach and mentor local teams to foster continuous improvement culture.
