Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a DBS Regional CI Expert to drive cost reductions and productivity gains across regional manufacturing sites using the DBS framework. The role emphasizes Lean leadership, hands-on problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration to elevate safety, quality, and delivery metrics.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in CI/Operations, a strong Lean background, and a Six Sigma Black Belt; willingness to travel up to 3 weeks per month and mentor teams on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement and operational leadership (Production or Operations Management).
• Lean Manufacturing expertise with a hands-on approach.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred; Lean training/certifications expected.
• Experience with Shainin or similar problem-solving methodologies is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to regional sites up to 3 weeks per month and work on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives and CI projects regionally to deliver cost reductions and productivity gains.
• Troubleshoot processes on the shop floor and implement hands-on improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and inventory.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DBS standards with regional goals.
• Analyze operational data using SAP, Power BI, and MS Office to drive actionable improvements.
• Coach and mentor local teams to spread DBS knowledge and continuous improvement culture.
